Jack Gionis is a composer and instrumentalist based in London, UK. Graduating from the Royal College of Music in 2021, he has written music for a variety of instruments and ensembles for film, installation and the concert hall. Jack's music evokes imagined worlds and stories, often combining ambient field recordings with detailed instrumental textures.

 

In June 2023, Jack was shortlisted for Vienna Symphonic Library's Vienna Composer Contest where he reached the top three finalists. His work has been performed at the National Portrait Gallery in London and featured in the online soundwalk treephonia. He is currently writing a catalogue of original music for piano and music for orchestra in a cinematic style. He enjoys teaching alongside his composition work.

Jack is also co-director of the audio storytelling company Listenarium with voiceover artist Eleanor Sturt. His sound design work can be heard in their Audio Adventures, immersive storybooks for children.
